Sorting of thumbnails

Is there a way to sort the thumbnails is the thumbnail view ?
I changed to the detailed view , changed the sorting criterion, and switched back to thummbnails .. but ut didn't work. Even with a refresh ..

Is there something I missed ?

Hello,

thumbnails can be sorted by name or by date only. Check the view menu for this.
