New Install, error in database

Everything appears to be functional.

Created a survey-- question and answers.
Checked db, confirmed that it did populate.

Tried:
http://www.site.com/poll/vote.php?surv=1

And...

http://www.site.com/poll/vote_1page.php?surv=1

Launching the above URL's displays the following error: "error in database"

Ideas? Thanks.

Is everything fine when you display the admin interface?

Please see my original post.
There are questions-- and I confirmed that the questions ARE in the db.

Solution: Nabopoll nests questions within surveys

Hi Jmueller

I had exactly the same problem, and hunted around in MySQL as I suspect you did and saw the tables getting entries written. The solution I found was this:

Nabopoll nests ANSWERS within QUESTIONS within SURVEYS

I had mistakenly assumed the admin screen went straight to entering QUESTIONS but in fact it wants you to create a SURVEY. So I was adding what I thought were 'answers' - but in fact they were QUESTIONS within the survey.

So I went back and changed my first 'QUESTION' to be what it truly was - my first SURVEY. Then I created my single real question within that, and then added my true answers underneath THAT... and now it works.

Hope this works for you - although I note your question has been dormant for 6 months.

Cheers
