Survey problem

Postby Olivieeeer » Sat Dec 14, 2002 3:17 pm

I created one survey with one question and 2 answers. For the " URL " ( http://www.nabocorp.com/nabopoll/edit_survey.jpg ) I entered " /poll1 ". Then the prbm is with vote.php.

When going to " http://mywebsite/nabopoll/vote.php?surv=1 " it return me this :

---
Fatal error: open(O_RDWR) failed for session file. The error is No such file or directory (2). Please consult http://support.free.fr/web/php/php4.html in vote.php
on line 4

Fatal error: open(O_RDWR) failed for session file. The error is No such file or directory (2). Please consult http://support.free.fr/web/php/php4.html in your script
on line 0
---

Thanks for helping me. :)

seems like there is an installation issue. make sure you uploaded all the files to your webserver and that you correctly ran the install.php script.

No problem with the install.php file, I already have some PHP scripts using mysql on my website and they work fine ( my site is hosting by free.fr ). I uploaded again all the files and the problem is the same.

It'a PHP feature that some web hosters disable... Make sure with your hoster that they support php sessions and that they are properly configured for your account.
