automatic download don t start

Hi,
When I plug my canon, cam2pc start and is minimized in the taskbarr.
But the transfert don t start : I must right clic transfert, and it s ok.
In Options\Misc I have check the 2 options " automatic download" and "YES to all question".
Is an other thing to do ?

No cam2pc is not able to auto detect Canon camera plugin. If you use Windows XP then next version of cam2pc will be able to autodetect but only on XP and only in the next version...

Ok thanks for the answer.
But do you know any other program who can download automatically piuctures on the plug of the camera on Windows 98 or DOS ?

Hi,
I do a Registry Patch for Win XP (i send it to nabocorp, but seem to not be interested :( ) that allow to auto detect Canon camera plugin (my powershot A40 at least). If you want it, contact me !

Hi,

I think it'll work for all cameras, for all cam2pc version but ONLY with XP.

Rankzero : Ton script de modification m interesse.
J'ai moi meme fait une modif dans la base de registre XP pour lancer cam2pc automatiquement au plug de l'appareil, mais il ne telecharge pas les images automatiquemement, il se minimize.
Sous Win 98, lorsque je branche l appareil, cam2pc se lance et propose la fenetre de transfert (il faut encore cliquer ok, meme si je met Yes for all answer ...)

Hello,
I send the registry path a second time at the same adresse. Wait and see.
Pour Larry, mon patch est un .exe qui modifie la base de registre en créant une clé dans CSLID, pour ajouter cam2pc dans les "evenements" de l'appareil photo (ouverture normale, pas minimisée).
Donne moi ton email que je te l'envoi...

No I did not receive it. If it is a .reg maybe you should zip it because of some firewalls may block mails with .reg files attached because of viruses.
