Hi,

I tried (and loved) the freeware version of cam2pc - sadly one of the major features causes me pain - if I use the renaming tool the selected (and modified) pictures disappear. Any idea what can cause this?

some months ago, I had this error.
In my case, it's because I've specified a renaming pattern without specifying the extension.

So for example the file "DSCN0001.jpg" was renamed in "Picture0001".

And as cam2pc is based on extensions to recognize files as pictures, a picture without file extension is not a picture !!

But maybe your problem is different ??

Which pattern do you use ?
Which is the original name of pictures ?
Do you have always this problem or only sometimes ?

LOL I can't believe that I did such a stupid error.... especially one so easy to find. Yeah you are absolutely right, it was just the extension.
