Alter MPEG-4 Videos possible?

I own a Casio Exilim P505 camera which produces JPGs and MPEG-4 videos.
Even the freeware cam2pc version can play them.
But I have the need to cut (frame precise?) and brighten/darken them, adjust contrast, gamma, etc., too.
Will the bought version do that?
I cant find this info on their Homepage.
