Folder Navigation Bug

Postby agent007 » Tue Nov 09, 2004 7:21 pm

Hello Nabocorp,

New cam2pc user here...Am lucky to find this great piece of software!

I have noticed a small bug though..Whenever I run cam2pc [v4.4.5], the folders do not reflect the thumbnails. When I click on a folder, it would be great if the folder tree would expand and display the directory. By default, the folder tree displays only Desktop & Offline Contents...and does not remember the last directory I navigated to....

thanks..

Hello,

do not know if you are the only one but surely this is not how cam2pc should behave. Which OS are you using?

hi,

Am running Windows XP...Maybe, heres how you can reproduce the problem.

1] Select another dirve (maybe E:\pics\year2004\event] & add it to the favourites

2] Select some more folders as favourites

3] Select the favourites from the drop down & notice the folder tree on the left. The directories opened on the left do not reflect the selected favourite.

On my system, I select E:\pics\year2004\event\outdoors from the favourites & the folder tree still displays D:\ I then have to manually navigate to E:\ and open the directories

Also, clicking on the folder in the thumbnail window does not select the folder in the directory tree.

thanks..

Hum it works fine for me. Anyway I am planing to update the tree to solve issues when accesing network drives so it may solve your issue. But you'll have to wait for this update!
