Error in EXIF

Postby Jens500 » Fri Oct 08, 2004 11:40 pm

Hi,

first of all thanks for that great program!

I use version 4.4.3 with my canon ixus 500.
In my opinion the ImageNumber in the EXIF isn't
displayed properly by cam2pc.

cam2pc: 1616-0171 camera: 161-6171
cam2pc: 1575-0789 camera: 157-5789

That means in the second example I have changed the CF-Cards 157x and took 5789 pictures, the numbers of the camera are correct.

And the A70

I have recently noticed exactly the same problem with files from my Canon A70. I guess Canon changed something!

Error in EXIF

The problem with wrong image numbers still exists (with different canon cams, I sent sample images at 2004-10-10), but this is not so important.

More important is that the whitebalance is wrong too:
tungsten, fluorescent, fluorescent H and Custom
are always displayed as: Manual white balance.

@nabocorp:
Please try to fix these errors.
