Erratic transition behaviour

Postby micaudwell » Sat Oct 02, 2004 3:52 pm

Hello

I've just downloaded and registered a copy of v4.4.2 I've just been trying out the build slideshow feature, using transitions. Some images transition smoothly from one to the next (eg fadein/fade out) others in the same sequence just appear abruptly on screen. Am I missing something here - I'd like them all to behave as expected - that is to say all fadein/out.

Thanks for any advice offered.

I was also having trouble with this yesterday. I had set the transition for the slideshow (I was building an .exe file) to only fade, but some still had an abrupt change.

Nick

Sounds like we are experiencing similar behaviour. I haven't tested it thoroughly by any means, but it seems as though the program 'behaves' until you modify the set of transitions that are selected. Then the dodgy behaviour manifests itself.

Admin - can you please shed any light on this?

Thanks

Version 4.4.4 unfortunately does not fix this problem.

I have only two transitions in effect:
(3D) Progressive Horizontal Flip
(3D) Progressive Vertical Flip
And random is off.

Sometimes the slideshow jumps from one to the next picture almost instantly without the transition effect. This "effect" is random.

Erratic Tranisitions

That's strange. Although I had this problem before (see above) it appears to be ok with 4.4.4 (although I have only tried it once since upgrading). Perhaps if nabocorp could say where he had "fixed" this in 4.4.4 we might be able to find a clue as to why yours is still not working.

Hi,

My last post above first was "everything is ok now in version 4.4.4", but after the second slideshow I made, the old error was back... So I edited the post.
