Feature request: Exif filters

Postby pdefeo » Wed Sep 22, 2004 2:28 pm

I'm loving this program more and more. One thing I am hoping you can add is one or more filters for the Exif pane. There is a lot of data in there which goes off the screen. It would be very helpful if there could be a way to filter the data to show only the values I am interested in.

Also, I have some pictures taken with a Nikon D100 for which the ISO is not being shown. I know it's buried in there somewhere and only a few programs actually display it. Can Cam2PC show this data?

Thanks for all your hard work.

For the EXIF Pane I defintitely will implement this in a future version.

For the D100 I would need a sample file : info at nabocorp.com.

The pictures are on the way. Let me know if there are any problems.

Me an my son we have two different cameras. The focal distances are slightly different and this makes it difficult to compare them. A good feature could be that you add the possibility to define factors depending from the camera models:

u10D,S300D,u300D, factor 6,0344827586206896551724137931034
Canon PowerShot A60, factor 6,4814814814814814814814814814815

You use this factor to modify the focal distance when displaying Exif data.

Canon Powershot A60, focal length 5,4 ... 16,2 -> 35 ... 105mm
Olympus µ1, focal length 5,8 ... 17,2 -> 35 ... 105mm

Best regards
