E-Mail: Help Please Nabocorp

I am a little disappointed. I've chosen to use Mozilla Thunderbird as my e-mail client. In the 'Mail' settings it quite clearly is picking up that Thunderbird is my default e-mail client, but if I try to send a photo...nothing happens after the picture size / quality dialogue. I know I can send the pics using the cam2pc internal mail function and that works but I want all my e-mail recorded in my chosen e-mail client.

Can you tell me why this doesn't work and what can be done to make it work...? Seem to me that cam2pc will only integrate with Outlook and OE.
