cam2pc doesn't work with Foxmail?

Postby Jem » Fri Jul 23, 2004 11:38 am

Don't get this...cam2pc recognises Foxmail in e-mail settings (Options) but when you try to send a photo from the album, nothing happens...nothing at all... :?

Hope you can help. Thanks

Hello,

sorry but Foxmail does not support MAPI (the standard mailing interface on Windows). You should ask the developper of Foxmail to add MAPI support as most Windows mail client do (Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Thunderbird...).

Hi,

Thanks for that, but as per my other posts I have now started using Thunderbird. You said you'd fixed the bug re: the cam2pc mail function not working with Thunderbird - I was hoping there would be a fixed / patched version available as a result. Any news on that?

Thanks again...

Hello,

this fix is included in the next 4.4 version that is under development. There should be a public beta available of the 4.4 before the end of the month.

P.S Presumably you post news of the Beta in the forum...?
