I wanted to add a comment to the automatically generated folder name of some new transferred pictures. While I could enter somethings the length is far too short. I'm used to adding long and detailed comments but I could only add three words after the date.
Did you limit the length intentionally?

Could you change the variable so that one can add the maximum allowed characters for a file system like NTFS?

this will be fixed in 4.3.4 but only in English and French versions. Other versions need their resources patch to be updated and that is generally not happening for patch releases.
