Sony Camera File Transfer

Postby intwtl » Sat Apr 17, 2004 3:54 am

I have 2 Sony cameras and I am using the shareware version.

The Sony Memory Stick (DCIM) it has a sub folder named 101MSDCF. The cameras create this folder even when I delete it.

When I transfer pics to "My Pictures" folder on my computer the same folder (101MSDCF) is created as a sub-folder under the date folder created by cam2pc.

Is there a way to avoid the creation of the sub folder (101MSDCF) on my computer when transfering.

I do not have this problem when transferring from my Canon camera.

Thanks,

Gary

There must be a file in this folder that you do not see in cam2pc because it may be a non-image file. With the upcoming 4.3 release you'll be able to specify wildcards to exclude files from the download process.

Simply try to set "flatten directory structure" in main downloader window. It works for me.
