When i download all the images from my CF, the Canon Catalogue files with the extension .ctg are also downloaded, and placed in a directory called 1980-01-01.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Please see the answer to my question

Hi I had a similar problem and NABOcorp told me what to do:

Confiqure cam2pc that it only looks for the specific directory where the cam saved the images. This should fix this problem

It will not work. Because config files are in a folder located in the \DCIM\ folder, and the files are located in a folder named 10xCanon where x is a variable digit.
Exemple :
F:\DCIM
\CFG
\106Canon
\107Canon

Hello,

I have just added an exclusion process to the next version (4.3). In your case you will be able to specify to exclude the files "*.ctg" from the download process. If other files can be found in the CFG dir then you could use "*\CFG\*.*" to exclude all the files located in the CFG directory.

nabocorp

Edit: this feature is ONLY in the Shareware version
