Hi,

I am very pleased with cam2pc, and being at the end of my evaluation, I am going to register it very soon.

I only found one annoying behaviour, which I consider a bug; as my Canon IXUS 400 correctly uses the landscape/portrait EXIF flag, I like to use the Image Downloader with Auto-rotation. It turns out that the resulting date and time of the new image are reset to the current time, and so pictures shot in landscape keep their original shooting date and time, while portrait pics have the download date and time.

As this is a very minor code change, I really hope this can be implemented in the next cam2pc release.

unfortunately not fixed!

used to work in 4.0.2, broken again in 4.2
(see thread "autorotated pics get new datestamp" 10/29/03)

(my cam: Canon Ixus V2)

Okay it is fixed and is integrated in 4.3 due to be released soon!
