compatible with JVC digital dualcam???

My teenager lost the download software that came with this mini camcorder/camera. I'm trying to download using cam2pc (set it for serial port) but it keeps saying error. However when I set it for USB, I can download from our Olympus digital camera with no problem.
Please help...........as JVC no longer offers this software anymore.

Hello,
unfortunately there is very little chance. cam2pc was designed to work with digital cameras and not camcorders. I do not know anything about how camcorders work regarding pictures so... If your camcorder uses a memory card then the easiest way would be to buy an external USB card reader and use cam2pc to get your pictures!

thanks for your reply. some very nice person sent me the url for jvc canada customer service in which there are some program downloads available. love those canadians!!! im working with them now to see if they will do the job. thanks again.....photobabe
