Bug in new version 4.1.0

Postby dt1961 » Wed Jan 07, 2004 10:36 pm

Hi Guys,

i installed your new version and tested immediatly because i want to buy a software which fulfill my needs. I connected my Canon Powershot G5 (new WIA-connection) and everything worked fine until i pushed the ok-button to transfer the shown picture of the preview and ...

the program crashed!!! A message about the c-compiler was displayed.

I hope you will solve the problem as fast as possible - i can't imaging that the problem exists only on my pc.

Best regards

Hello,

a few questions:

- did you run the Configuration Wizard to identify your camera?
- from what I understood you had a prompt that asked you the description for the folder to be created, a thumbnail was visible and the crash happened when you click the OK button in this dialog, right?

Hello,

- the configuration wizard started automatically and identified my camera.
- right, if you define in the options of the picture transfer to use %p then a small dialog box is displayed, shows the first thumbnail and challenges me to type a description of the folder. After typing in a name and pressing the ok-button the program crashes.

I hope the above description will help to find the bug (my english isn't perfect ...).

Best regards from vienna in austria
