I don't have an Olympus camera (I'm using a Canon S45) but what you can try is the following:

- make sure that not only cam2pc is installed, but also the drivers shipped with your camera. If you haven't installed the camera-drivers yet, install them and reinstall cam2pc afterwards.

- if your camera supports different transfer modes: Don't select "PTP" in the settings of your camera, but the standard Olympus mode (whatever that is called). You can try PTP as well, but at least my Canon camera doesn't work with it.

Good luck! It should be possible to get your camera working, since there is already a note for it in the compatibility list.

And as a remark for Nabocorp: Hey why don't you support PTP in cam2pc? Then all driver and compatibility problems would be gone!

Tom

Hello,

the Olympus C3000Z is not supported by cam2pc. It's an "old" Oly cam with its proprietary protocol. No chance it is going to be supported in cam2pc soon.

As for PTP I do not think a lot of manufacturers use it. I can think of Canon and Kodak but am not sure for the other brands. However this is in my todo list!

Thanks Chris for the google-link: it's great to finally have my good old Oly 3030 appearing in WinXP like a WIA-supported USB-device. But Cam2Pc still doesn't work with my Olympus 3030: 'No files found', it says. Windows XP does manage to find my Olympus files. Is there a workaround, or doesn't Cam2Pc support Olympus 3030 camera's, even when they're 'WIA-enabled'?
