with 4.0.2 I receive "Error while decoding image file imagefile.gif" when trying to view a gif file full-screen - here are the details:


1. It happens after I have successfully viewed a .tif file full-screen...
2. It sometimes happens after I have viewed a .gif file full-screen - sometimes it ony takes one .gif, sometimes more than one...
3. After the problem occurs the first time, it always occurs when trying to view a .gif file full-screen.
3. Changing directories resets something and the problem cycle begins again.

A final note - the Preview window shows the image even when the error occurs.

This only occurs when I double click a .gif file while in the thumbnail view. I couldn't get it to happen in the detail view, but as soon as I switch to thumbnail view it happens every time.
