Hi,

ich can't rename my Files with cam2pc. Maybe the Programm can't read the Exif information. Is this possible?
In the database are still 6 reports with the samsung Digimax 350SE.
Can anybody help me???

Thank you!

Thanks for the image. The problem comes from the fact that your camera does not write properly the date EXIF tags. The standard says that the date should be written "2003:08:20 14:46:40" but your camera writes "20/08/2003 14:46:40". Unfortunately I can't be sure if this Digimax always writes the time in your format or if it writes it because it is was setup this way (due to country or user localization). Finding the year is easy but differenciating between day and month in a picture shot the 4th of April is harder.

Therefore I can't fix this in anyway for the moment. Write to Samsung so they update their cameras to comply to the EXIF standards.

Sorry

I use FreeCommander and be very happy about the possibilities of renaming a lot of files.
