On-Screen Display Sugestion

Postby slavko » Wed Sep 17, 2003 4:29 pm

Hello...

Great program. The speed over ZoomBrowser is..... :) :)

But there is stil place for improvments

 Can you add option to manualy select items to be displayed as info?
Some fields from EXIF info (including comment) date filename....

The alreday done is good but show to much information in some cases but never show comment.

 The switch where to show that date (top/bottom) (left, center, right) should be nice too..

Thanks

I agree, it should be possible to view the EXIF comment together with the image!

Other suggestions

I did not see an option for a histogram either. It would be cool to see the histogram data from each picture that I download along side the picture in a view with the EXIF data.

Hello,

you can already display an histogram. In the full-screen viewer contextual menu, go to Info Display. You'll notice that the H key toggles the display of an histogram for the current picture.

One H key press will display the overall histogram. Then you'll see the histograms for individual channels one after the other.

To quickly get rid of the histogram press Shift-H.

Hello,

OSD has been improved in upcoming 4.1. You cannot choose which EXIF field you want to display but Comments have been added and can be shown among the other EXIF tags or separated. Also the EXIF data, comment, histogram and pixel info can be individually places on screen as you like. There are 9 positions defined: top-left, top, top-right, right..., left and center.
