renaming files in multiple directories

Hi,

i'm a very big fan of cam2pc, but there's one question i have:

if i have images of different dates on my camera they are moved to folders like

[2003-12-09] Topic 1
[2003-12-10] Topic 2
[2003-12-11] Topic 3

and so on. thats what cam2pc does very good. it asks for the 'Topic X' for each date it finds on the camera.

now the problem:
i would like to have the files named with the topic and an index within each directory. but cam2pc asks for a name for the files only once, that means the files in all directories are named with the topic i enter there. the result looks like this

[2003-12-09] Topic 1
Topic3_Image1.jpg
Topic3_Image2.jpg
...
[2003-12-10] Topic 2
Topic3_Image1.jpg
Topic3_Image2.jpg
...
[2003-12-11] Topic 3
Topic3_Image1.jpg
Topic3_Image2.jpg
...

and what i would like looks like this..

[2003-12-09] Topic 1
Topic1_Image1.jpg
Topic1_Image2.jpg
...
[2003-12-10] Topic 2
Topic2_Image1.jpg
Topic3_Image2.jpg
...
[2003-12-11] Topic 3
Topic3_Image1.jpg
Topic3_Image2.jpg
...

Is this possible with cam2pc 3.1.2?
if yes, how?
if not, it would be a cool feature in one of the next versions.

sorry for the long descreption, but i think it's as short as possible.

thanX for answers

Hello,

what you need is simply a new switch when renaming pictures that will take the description you entered for the directory where the image is located... This makes sense. I'll see if I can include this in one of the next versions but sorry I can already tell you that it won't be in next version.
