Hi; did a search on Minolta and found nothing, so I will ask:

1. The "user reports" query you have is great; it lists that 31 owners of the Minolta 7i have reported in, but there is no way to access that info, so I can only assume that they reported they were successful... is that the case?

2. Mine doesn't get recgonized by the software wizard, in any camera mode, even though my PC picks up on it as soon as I plug into a USB port. Anyone else experience this problem?

I own a Dimage 7i (great camera) and am successfully using cam2pc. The Dimage is a little different - in that you must not only connect the USB cable, but then you must turn the knob to transfer mode, and then on the screen select "USB" and thumb the indiacator to the right and hit enter. This will allow your camera to talk to your PC. Once they are talking, cam2pc will be able to download your pictures. Have you gotten this far? I just set mine up without the detection in the wizard.
