To: From: greyed out???

After getting the program to recognize my Nikon Coolpix 900 on Com 2, I tried to download pix .
When I got the downloader screen, the From: Digital camera was greyed out as well as the To: Multiple Directories.
When I clicked ok the program was looking for list of files and the camera LCD showed action when it stopped abruptly and the program gave an Error message Error while getting list of files.
What do I do now?
