Ok. This is fixed and uploaded to the previous URL. Hopefully, I should be releasing 4.6.0 real soon now!

Now showing Nikon raw (NEF) files correctly from my D70. Excellent, thank you Nabocorp.

Nikon D200 RAW also correct - good stuff. Any chance of ditching the dependency on Nero? Built in driver...or use the Windows burning function...?? Just seems a bit over the top to insist on a Nero install. Thanks.

great work nabocorp! cam2pc is a great app - and now i can use it in vista.

only 1 issue i'm having and that is that the EOS canon camera support doesn't work. when i try to download images from my 400D, it says 'error while getting list of files'.

thanks again!

edit: just thought i'd mention that i'm using the latest link you provided in this thread - 4.6.0

Importing images from Memory-Card: Wildcard for Card-Name?

Hello!

First let me say that I like cam2pc very much.

Since there are many digital cams in my family I use a card reader to get the pictures.

But I want them to end in different subdirs.

Now it is esay to give the memory card a specifiv name (Canaon_400D, Nokon_3200,...).

When getting pictures in the "Directory Creation" dialog I have something like
E:\Pictures\Nikon_L2\%Y\%Y-%m\%Y-%m-%d

No I would like to have something like %N to expand to the card name.

Now I do this by hand (and somtime I forget to do so) or maybe I could use %P. But with this I risk typos. I really would prefer having an automatic and fool-prove way.

Greetings from Austria
Peter

Excellent. I've been waiting for an update for quite some time. Unfortunate that it still breaks the EXIF thumbnails after you rotate the image. (I wrote a PHP page that reads the thumbnails directly from the file... that's when I noticed it.)

Also, I have to say that I'd be much more likely to pay $30 for it if the source was open. As it is, we could be waiting until March 2008 for the next release, and even a software developer (like myself) would have no control over that.

Ah well... it's still a simple-but-great little piece of software.
