I've tried to mail the pictures from the album but did not succeed yet. The email does get sent, but the addressed can not see the pictures because the attachment is only a dat file (and not a jpg).

I have checked the html of the email: the email would like to show the picture (jpg) and not the attached .dat file.

Please help, I would like to use this feature since it seems so easy to use.

Did you try using plain text HTML (checkbox just under the body field)?

I tried the plain text mode but no difference: the message comes with a .dat file.

I checked the dat file with a picture viewer (by changing the extension) and it is the picture indeed. The filename was ATT00002.dat

Do you recommend reinstalling cam2pc?

I'm using Windows XP home edition and a sony dv cam
